Bidding Information

On the Biddify platform, there are two types of bids: standard and max.
Standard bids represent a commitment to pay an amount. They are immediately applied to the lot.
Max bids represent a willingness to pay up to an amount. By placing a max bid, you authorize the system to keep bidding on your behalf up to some threshold.1 The system will bid the minimum amount necessary for you to remain the highest bidder.
These bids that the system places are indicated by the following icon:

In the case of a tie, the system selects the earliest bid (among max bids of the same target price, for example).
The 
symbol always marks the current highest bid.
1 Note that you can keep adjusting your threshold upward. To do this, simply max bid a higher amount.
